The seventeenth day of the campaign marks the start of one of the messiest phases of the election.
That’s because the deadline for candidate nominations has passed, which means the names on your ballot are locked and loaded. So naturally, if parties have some juicy intel on their opponents, they probably sat on it until now — because now, candidates can’t be replaced.
That means the hottest tea has yet to spill. Trust me, I’ll be watching for it.

The Liberals and Conservatives both made announcements today that were eerily similar to ones the NDP made last week. That’s as NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh faced questions about whether he’s going to lose his own seat. Tough day.
