Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre spent Monday evening at his $1,750-per-plate fundraiser hosted at a mansion so large it has its own postal code.
But here’s the more concerning part: the guy who owns that place? Yeah, he appears to profit from privatized healthcare facilities in the United States.
I first saw this in a press release from the NDP, so naturally I took it with a grain of salt. You can never totally trust political press releases — by nature, they’re politically motivated.
But when I independently verified the details, what I found was…pretty unnerving.
This is something Poilievre could easily clear up if he just tells the public what he did (or did not) promise the wealthy patrons of his evening in Westmount.
Unfortunately, my emails have gone unanswered.
