Looks like the U.S. didn't actually destroy Iran's nuclear sites. Here's what that means

Spoiler: it's not great for anyone.

An explosive CNN report has revealed that the U.S. strikes on Iran likely didn’t destroy the nuclear sites at all.

In fact, it only set them back by months.

Two sources reportedly told CNN Iran’s stockpile of 60% enriched uranium was not destroyed. One source, importantly, claimed the centrifuges — which are the things that actually enrich the uranium — are largely “intact.”

I spoke to an expert in Middle East politics about what this means.

It turns out, unsurprisingly, that Trump just made everything worse. Experts are warning that the attack will likely prompt Iran to rush towards weaponizing its enriched uranium.

But that’s easier said than done — and it doesn’t mean countries are about to start lobbing nuclear weapons at each other.

In today’s video, I’m breaking down:

  • What would have to happen for Iran to turn its enriched uranium into a nuclear weapon

  • Who is most likely to help Iran do that — because they don’t appear to have the technical knowledge on weaponization yet

We’ll also have a little chat about what that actually means for the world.

Let’s dive in.
