It’s time for your weekly dose of the Bubble Pop podcast!
Today on the show, we’ve got the man behind those maps you’re seeing everywhere.
You know, the poll aggregations that our politicians probably see in their dreams and nightmares. That’s right, Philippe J. Fournier, the creator of 338Canada, is on the show.
But first, I summarize the week’s biggest headlines so you don’t have to doomscroll.
Tariffs are here, and it’s bad.
Not as bad as it could have been, but that’s kind of like saying it’s not bad you had to listen to Nickelback on a car ride because it was one of their less-awful albums.
It’s still Nickelback, and we’re still getting hit with tariffs.
There’s also been drama on the campaign trail this week as candidates’ past comments have come back to haunt them, leading to several — mostly conservative — candidates dropping out of the race
Then we’ll have to look at the crumbling democracy next door, because ultimately, that’s going to impact us too — and things are getting weird down there.
Enjoy!
