Prime Minister Mark Carney’s controversial bill to ram through projects deemed in the national interest is now law, which makes this next part the most important question:
What are we going to build?
Indigenous leaders and environmental groups have loudly sounded the alarm over what projects this law could be used to expedite. The answer to that question will determine how harmful this law could be.
That is why I’m very stoked to be partnering with my friends at the National Observer on today’s video.
Because their reporter, John Woodside, combed through the premiers’ wish lists and cross-referenced those projects with government sources and business plans to determine what’s likely to make the cut.
They identified 15 projects likely to get green-lit.
In today’s video, we’ll talk about them all.
