Rachel, I wouldn't discount the possibility that Iran has the knowledge and skills to produce a working bomb from highly enriched uranium. Iran has a lot of well educated and skilled people. Having this capability is much less conspicuous than having facilities to enrich uranium.

Your point is good. If North Korea has nuclear capacity, Iran could certainly obtain it.

My read is that she is not dismissing it. She is simply saying there is no evidence for it. And of course, one can never be 100% certain that something is NOT happening. However, it is also stupid and wrong to attack without 100% (or damn near it!) evidence.

Very concerned about 51st State comments. Maybe American Bechtel or other corporations think that buying Canadian politicians is too slow and invasion is quicker. Here in B.C. we have an appeaser Premier David Eby who is bent in giving American what they want while pretending he cares about bc residents.

Before you even got there..... yes it could happen - a phony terrorist attack could be staged - in fact they are already hinting at it --- if this happens innocent Americans are going to die and Bibi and TRump do not care - they will blame it on Iranians - or some brown people and the US is likely to follow them - terrifying

In fact, the Americans, hence the Israelis, have every reason to believe that the Iranians know how to turn enriched uranium into a bomb because in a failed spy plot they accidentally gave the Iranians supposedly fake plans, which were actually pretty good. You can read about it here: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/1/27/ex-cia-agent-convicted-over-iran-nuclear-plan-leaks

I’m left wondering why Iran would enrich uranium beyond the 2-4% required for civilian purposes if they weren’t planning on weaponizing that uranium. They haven’t they been complying with UN inspections since 2019 and they’ve stockpiled about 400 kg of highly enriched uranium. Even if Iran doesn’t have the know-how to produce a fission/fusion nuke, what’s to say they won’t use it in a dirty bomb? Although I think Netanyahu is a monster, I also think he’s not the only one in the neighbourhood and I would not glibly dismiss his concerns.

My understanding (and it's totally plausible) is that the 60% enrichment level is a form of deterrence that is greater than traditional weaponry but lesser than having a nuclear bomb.

Please take a look at these questions when you have the time. 1. Is Felon Trump doing this to distract from the building opposition to his corrupt, unlawful, illegal attacks on some of the best academics, physicians, and scientists at Harvard, NASA, the NIH, Vaccine specialists, large numbers of immigrants, international students and people who are not white and efforts to " humanely kill disabled and elderly people and poor children by cutting their funding in the US. Already in poor countries, babies, children and vulnerable people are dying because US AID has been destroyed. 2 Why do you not speak to members of AllMEP, Breaking the Silence, Standing Together, Women Wage Peace and Israelis and Palestinians who have been protesting against Netanyahu for years. These suggest that Netanyahu is not popular and needs to start another war to justify avoiding an election and charges of corruption. Starting a war is how Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher clung to power . This has been the preferred option by unpopular American and British politicians, and could this be what is dragging all of us to a third world war and endangering the lives of all kinds of people? Thank you,

Hey, Iran called America to say they were attacking, everyone knew they had to show their people that they were doing something and America didn't escalate. Whew

Russia has jut announced that 'other nations' will share nuclear weapons with Iran. Three guesses which ones. Trump then states that he will use 'the most lethal weapons ever built' if this happens. In the meantime Congress tabled a motion to impeach Trump over his violation of the War Powers Act. I need a drink.

Could you please investigate how Putin is involved with the Israel & US-Iran strikes?

There's a Russia angle that almost no one has picked up on, but Putin, Netanyahu & Trump are a criminal cabal.

One item is not being discussed. President Barack Obama negotiated a treaty with the Iranians where they paused their nuclear enrichment program. Why would he do this if it was a peaceful program?

Trump cancelled the treaty and the Iranians resumed their program. I think that we need more information about this.

I would also like to know why Netanyahu finds the current situation preferable to serving time in jail for corruption?

Thanks for keeping us posted with your well-researched analysis. The action that stands-out most is the fact Trump ignored Congress and Constitution to drop bombs on another country that was not threatening the US. This is extremely concerning!!
