Thanks for being a real journalist. This is very frightening. Difficult to see how it can be controlled within the military, when I'm sure that this right wing bias is already part of it's culture; and current U.S policies just legitimize the extremism. We are heading to very violent and chaotic times if we don't find a way to counter this.

There have always been extremists in societies but 3 things are different now

Not surprising that active duty members are involved. Just look at the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers, many members of which have military or law enforcement background. The way they planned and organized people and weapons for the Jan 6 attack on the US capital showed that that they are highly skilled and well trained. You see similarities in the convoy organizers in Canada. The US intelligence agencies have deemed white nationalists as the biggest threat of domestic terrorism.

How is our government comfortable investing in a Canadian company that will be supplying guards to Trump's concentration camp in Florida?

How can us Canadians be silent about this bullshit?

Will allowing this to happen breed more domestic terrorists on Canadian soil?

I agree with Rachel Gilmore - we cannot dismiss this as a minor bleed into Canada from the U.S. This is now a homegrown, right-wing racist problem. I do not see the Canadian military as right wing - conservative perhaps, but please do not write every soldier off as a potential racist. That would be a wholly unreasonable reaction. Let's not counter crazy with more crazy.
