Bibi is afraid to stop the murdering because then there might seem to be no wartime emergency and an election will have to be held. He then faces certain jail time, much the same as a certain orange-ish clown
Hamas is evil. So are "the Beards" in Iran who are willing to fight to the last Arab to destroy Israel. Now that I've got that out of the way, Bibi is the scum of the Earth, who prolongs this war and his nation's suffering while "it's pretty clear by now" genociding Arab civilians. He does it to stay in power, because he knows he can outrun Israel's justice system while the war goes on.
And of course, Putin's sock puppet in the Oval Office plays his supporting role.
This is absolutely horrifying and heartbreaking! I can’t believe this hasn’t been stopped. Our governments need to be held accountable and they need to stand up for the Palestinians and human rights. Our media is an absolute disgrace! Thank you for your reporting!
Trump's fingerprints are all over Israel's actions. There is only one way to stop the killings - Trump needs to be impeached and his administration deligitimized.
I'd love to see more detailed/fact based reporting on events, and not just reporting on the outcomes of horrific actions taken and the resulting terror. Meaning, how did the ceasefire end, when, what "justification" did Netanyahu's government use to move forward with these actions, what was hamas' response, and so on.
Those who do not know/read history, in this case the history of war, will be shocked to hear Genghis Khan, when conquering a town/city/people, who fought against his incursions, were systematically killed – yes, all of the people, men, women, and children – all of them, no one survived. Alexander the Great? Not much better. In war, compassion/empathy/morality are the first victims, before the killing of the innocent, ideologically referred to as collateral damage. I understand your anger, your outrage, what i don't understand is your lack of journalistic integrity: the ability to step back and see the whole history of war, not just specific details, in a specific time period. If you did, you'd see The Geneva Convention is merely a weak/flimsy attempt to make arbitrary rules to war, where in reality, there are non, but the morals inherent within the individual. Now, that doesn't mean i condone the specific actions you mention. I can't. My Unborn Mind, the Buddhist sect i belong to, responds to war something like this: Soldiers of Humanity ONCE A DIVISION of the Japanese army was engaged in a sham battle, and some of the officers found it necessary to make their headquarters in Gasan’s temple. Gasan told his cook: “Let the officers have only the same simple fare we eat.” This made the army men angry, as they were used to very deferential treatment. One came to Gasan and said: “Who do you think we are? We are soldiers, sacrificing our lives for our country. Why don’t you treat us accordingly?” Gasan answered sternly: “Who do you think we are? We are soldiers of humanity, aiming to save all sentient beings.”

Suzuki Roshi, founder of the Zen sect in San Francisco, when asked, " How would you react if you found out missiles, with nuclear warheads, would hit our town in 10 minutes?" He replied, "i'd pack my Zazen cushions. Go to the kitchen to grab some food and water; then i'd walk outside and sit on the grass, facing the oncoming weapons, and joy the few minutes i had left."

Really, does it matter what i think? Be it, one hundred, or even five years from now?

Great reporting again, Rachel. I agree it HAS to stop. DAMN!

Well Israel finally lost me. This was the last straw. Kudos Rachel.
