I think this is an election for the ages. This has been insane and watching judges being arrested for upholding the law in America... We are past the point where anyone should be supporting PP.

Tim Houston signaled some time ago that he was at odds with PP. He said something to the effect that he would only consider backing a a federal party if the candidate had a proposal to support Nova Scotia. I read that as his way of ducking the assumption that he supported the CPC. I'm surprised that it took PP this long to figure it out. Or maybe I'm not. PP isn't that bright. And although I may not agree with Houston on a lot of things, he has my respect for this.

Poilievre also didn't know Doug Ford doesn't like him. Poilievre didn't congratulate Doug Ford on his win, until 18 days after the Ontario election, and the call was more so to ask Doug Ford for help, but Doug Ford was too busy.

Houston makes an important point about the conservative parties, Provincial & Federal. They are different. The Provincial versions are 'progressive' (except for AB), while the Federal conservative version is a Regressive Conservative party. The regressive part was the influence of Preston Manning's 'Reform Party' that prefers to focus on cultural biases rather than business, authority rather than education, religions/cults rather than science. Although these UCP traits are leaking into the BC version of conservative as well. Very problematic ... and very MAGA.
