The centre-right of the Liberals is not where PP lives. I don't think there is an overlap once you look at the values and principles underlying the positions. But hey - PP certainly attracted a segment didn't he, at least while JT was playing lightning rod prior to resigning and coming back, phoenix-like, as Captain Canada. He met the the moment. As for Karina Gould - though I don't like all her policy positions - her leadership and heart came through. I particularly liked her thinking about the struggle for democracy and decency in a post-truth online world.
Bear in mind that there’s concern that the US election was “affected” by the firehose of falsehoods online. There’s also some issues with votes being excluded by organized & robust efforts to remove voters from the rolls.
From what I’ve read, donald didn’t come close to the mandate he’s claiming. It remains to be seen if anyone will ever acknowledge the issues or do anything about them.
Great interview and some interesting insights into the political world. 👏👏
