Bad move by NDP. Not sure what they are trying to achieve here. Last time they threatened a no-confidence vote, it was when many people wanted a new government but Poilievre would have won, and NDP would not have formed government so it would have been a stupid move. This time they threaten a no-confidence vote, no one wants a new government, and NDP has only 7 seats and doesn't even have official party status. The circumstances are worst than last time so it would have been an even more stupid move. You may not like some of Carney's plans, but it is very clear from the election results that Canadians think he is the best person to deal with Trump, and it is very early days so you need to give him time. It doesn't help Team Canada by creating the smoke of some kind of in-fighting.

Thanks. A very useful podcast and the only place where I’ve been able to learn when tonight’s vote on the throne speech will be.
